Dr.
Kristine Clark has been involved with Matol since 1991.
First, as part of the original Health and
Nutrition Advisory Board and now as our own nutrition consultant.
Her love for Matol stems from a similarity in missions. Hers is to
impact the health and well-being of all her clients and Matol
Distributors by promoting good nutrition and physical activity.
Matol’s is to Impact World Health. Dr. Clark says that she relies
on the knowledge of Matol Distributors to take her message to
hundreds of others who need assistance changing bad health habits to
good ones.
Dr. Clark is currently Director of Sports Nutrition at Penn State
University. She counsels over 800 varsity athletes from 29 sports.
She is also the spokesperson for the United States Soccer Federation
and a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, the largest
group of sports medicine professionals in the world. In 1998, she
was elected as a Board of Trustee member to that group.
Georges
Morisset, Pht. brings years of experience in the
sports medicine field to the table, and is an invaluable ally in the
mission to Impact World Health. His impressive resume includes
having worked with professional hockey teams, as well as his work
with athletes at the Pan-American Games and the 1972 Olympic Games
in Munich.
Thirty years of dedicated service to his profession has
brought Georges credibility and respect. His advice has long been
sought on a variety of health issues. Georges has had an interest in
nutrition and supplements since he was a young man, and he is
committed to helping Matol Distributors make sense of the wealth of
information that exists in the industry today.
Dr.
Victor Manuel Santander, M.D., Ph.D., received his M.D. in
November 1958 from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He
also has three Ph.D.’s in Biochemistry (1960), Neurophysiology
(1963), and Pharmacology (1965) from the National Autonomous
University of Mexico.
Dr. Santander has been in private practice for more than 40 years in
the field of Endocrinology, Virology and Immunology. Dr. Santander
was a past Researcher for the Department of Immunology (Tumors) at
the Max Planck Institute in Freiburg, Germany. Currently, he is the
Director of the Immunology Institute in Mexico City and a Research
Professor for the Occidental Institute Research Foundation in
British Columbia, Canada.
Dr. Santander is the author of many original research publications
and has written various books focusing on Human Pharmacology and
Neurophysiology.His first scholarly publication, Dolor y Conducta
1958 Libros de Mexico S.A., is still used by students as reference
material for pain management. Dr. Santander was the first
Latin-American to discover a new antibiotic and has given many
medical conferences in various countries.
Dr.
Kris Van Oeveren attended California State University
Sacramento and University of California Davis before entering Life
West Chiropractic College. As an N.C.A.A. conference gymnastics
champion and national competitor, He became interested in nutrition
and was very aware how it affected his body and his competitive
performance. Dr. Van Oeveren realized the need for a systematic
approach to nutrition that could serve the needs of a wider range of
health care professionals and their patients. He holds a
chiropractic license in four states: Missouri, Colorado, Wisconsin,
and California. His responsibilities at Matol include product
research and development, technical support data, production of
consumer awareness audio tapes, new product formulation, and
speaking as a corporate nutritional spokesperson. Dr. Van Oeveren
believes nutritional supplementation should complement our bodies
physiological systems to improve and support our innate self healing
capacity.
