Matol’s state-of-the-art production facility, located just outside Montreal in Varennes, Quebec, is the heart of our international manufacturing and quality-control network, and is designed to specifically meet the specialized production needs of an herbal-based product. 

Guaranteeing the highest standards of quality and safety is our plant’s stringent quality control measures. All ingredients are carefully inspected for purity and quality by our experienced and fully qualified personnel, assuring that only the finest ingredients are used. Each step of the formulation process is strictly controlled and monitored by Matol personnel. 

Our laboratories meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards for pharmaceutical products and comply with GLP’s (Good Laboratory Practices). They are also approved for Pharmaceutical and Food Analysis and accredited for Micrological Analysis. Considering that Matol products are distributed worldwide, we must be able to assure a strict and severe quality standard. In order to accomplish this, all Matol products are rigorously tested in not only our microbiological laboratory - which has been accredited by the Canadian Council of Standards, but by our chemistry laboratory, which is also operated to GLP standard. By completely controlling the production processes, we assure the highest levels of quality using only processes that have been proven and validated though years of experience and testing.

The reliability and precision of our laboratories are such that we are able to provide external test laboratory services to a variety of other firms, insuring that not only are our laboratories respected test centers, but that we continue to progress at the cutting edge of technology in order to be better able to ensure the quality of our own products at all times.
As a result of this high level of quality in our ingredients and processes, Matol has been inspected and approved by Canada’s Health Protection Branch. In addition Matol has always diligently followed all regulations and laws as defined by the clients’ countries.
