To tell you the absolute truth...the only time I have seen this product
not work, is simply because the person was not taking it regularly and

Q: Why is Matol/Km considered a therapeutic preparation in
Canada and a food supplement in the United States?
A: Many
countries have different criteria for classifying products. What is
considered a food in one country may be considered something completely
different in another. When Matol/Km is introduced to another country, the
classification may be different again. The product is designated by the
Canadian Health and Welfare Department as a therapeutic preparation. This
agency's policies allow us to print an official number on the bottle.
However, Matol/Km is a food supplement according to the United States
definition, and does not require official FDA approval--just as a loaf of
bread or a quart of milk does not require approval.
Q: Why does the product not have the FDA approval marked on
it?
A: Matol/Km is a food supplement in the USA and does not
require a stamp on the bottle. In fact, the FDA does not give official
approvals to food products, only to new drugs. The FDA does closely
monitor the production and distribution of food products in the United
States to ensure safety and quality. They determine labeling (what is said
about the product on the label) and if any of the product ingredients are
unsafe.
Q: Is Matol/Km safe for children?
A: Yes! They
should start with a small amount and gradually work up to a teaspoon per
day. Larger amounts are safe for those with health problems, but start
slowly.
Q: Is there anything in Matol/Km that would work against a
person's medication?
A: None of the natural ingredients in
the product have been found to have any effect at all on regular
medication. If any contradictions were present, the FDA would require us
to list them on the bottle. No such indications exist. However, do not
discontinue medication in any case without prior consent from your

Q: Can a woman take Km during pregnancy?
A: Yes,
it is perfectly safe to continue taking Km during pregnancy, just as you
continue eating bread or any other foods. Some report much easier
deliveries and since the fetus needs nutrition for it's development, you
are supplying the best for mom and baby. This is a most important time for
nutrition. The mother's body needs to be supplied with great nutrition as
the baby will draw from her sources and cause deficiencies in mom. Many

Q: Should everyone take the full amount of Km/Matol at first?

We recommend everyone try their first bottle of Matol/Km in varying
amounts to determine their own needs and tolerances. Begin with a smaller
amount mixed with water, juice, or a favorite beverage, and allow your
body to adjust to the formula. Older people, people with serious ailments,
people taking major medication and children under five years old should
definitely start with less.
Q: What is the suggested daily amount?
A: Based on
usage since 1922 with Matol/Km, Dr. Jurak recommended one tablespoon twice
a day, a total of one ounce. However, each person's needs may be different
based on weight, metabolism, and level of activity. To determine the most
effective level for you, try the first bottle of Km in different amounts.
The bottle lists a different amount according to Canadian regulations. In
Canada, it is necessary to indicate the MAXIMUM daily intake on the
bottle; two tablespoons twice a day, a total of two ounces. However,
remember each person is different, and should adjust the amount of Matol/Km
they take according to their own needs. Athletes and active people
sometimes use incredible amounts of Km per day. Usage of Km is a personal
choice depending on the actual consumer of the product. There are no

Q: Why did Dr. Jurak choose the ingredients he did?
A: The plants

Q: Has there been any medical research or double blind studies

Q: Why are there preservatives in Matol/Km?
A: Km
is an aqueous-based product that would deteriorate rapidly if not
carefully preserved. The process used to preserve Km has been proven safe
and effective through decades of use in the pharmaceutical and food
industries. In 1922 Dr. Karl Jurak determined the most effective method
for preserving the product without compromising the purity of the formula.

Q: Is there any stimulant in Matol/Km?
A: There is
